  1. Basics concepts of power (p. 41 of this chapter - 5 minute read)

    Reflection questions: Consider what power looks like in your setting, and across wider society. What are the ideologies or belief systems that shape this? What might this mean in your context?

  2. Power - the anti-racist educator (5 minute read)

    Reflection questions: Consider the idea of the ‘correct’ population that the blog post describes. How might you describe what this is across society, and how the idea is upheld? How might this impact students and colleagues of colour?

  3. Expressions of power (5 minute read)

    Reflection questions: What examples of the different kinds of power described can you think of in your setting? What actions can be taken to encourage greater power ‘with, to and within’?
